Youth Around Nigerian Hold Rally In Memory Of Victims Of The October 20th, 2021 Lekki massacre
In major cities
across the country, Endsars memeorioal was held. Amidst heavy security presence,
many youths were seen on vehicles singing, waving the Nigerian flag in commemoration
of the Endsars memorial today.
In some areas where
walking was suspended like the Lekki toll gate, many protesters resorted to
using vehicles. Numerous vehicles rode past the Lekki toll gate honking their
horn while waving flags in solidarity with the victims of the Lekki massacre.
Celebrities such as
musician Falz, comedian Mr. Macroni, Nollywood star Chioma Akpotha were among
the persons who came out to protest.
Many Nigerians come
out today to mark the one year of the Endsars protest. Many youths are out
today to get the government's attention to police brutality, insecurity, and calling
an end to bad governance and killings.
