Wanted DCP Abba Kyari, 4 others now in our custody - NDLEA
The erstwhile commander of the Intelligence Response team Abba Kyari was declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency over his involvement in a 25kg cocaine deal. A few hours after he was declared wanted, the authorities of the Nigerian police force has handed him over to NDLEA authorities.
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the anti-narcotic agency Mr. Babafemi, he said that the five wanted suspects are DCP Abba Kyari; ACP Sunday J. Ubua; ASP Bawa James; Inspector Simon Agirgba and Inspector John Nuhu. The 5 suspects were driven into the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja at about 5 pm. They were handed over for interrogation and further investigation.

The NDLEA assured the good people of Nigeria that no stone will be left unturned. He also added that the agency will make sure all suspects in custody as well as anyone indicted in the cause of investigation will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
