President Muhamadu Buhari Jets To Scotland For Climate Change Conference Just Two Days After Returning From Saudi Arabia
President Muhammadu Buhari is all set to embark on an
official trip to Glasgow Scotland and Paris in France. The Nigerian president
is set to attend the 26th conference of parties (COP) to the united
nations framework on climate change. (UNFCCC). After that, the
Nigerian president will also travel to Paris on an official reciprocal visit to
the one French President Emmanuel Macron did.
It
has been gathered that the Nigerian President is scheduled to deliver his
national statement at the high-level segments for the head of state and government
at the conference on Tuesday, November 2.
His address is expected to highlight Nigeria's
key priorities and actions plans that will help to tackle climate change as
well as update the conference on the country's transition to a low carbon
economy consistent with achieving the Paris Climate Agreement.
