President Buhari Commissions Dangote's $2.5bn Fertiliser Plant
President Muhammadu Buhari Yesterday 22-3-2022 commissioned the newly completed 3 Million Metric Tonnes per annum capacity fertilizer plant. It is the state-of-the-art Dangote Fertilizer Urea plant. This project comes with an emphatic assurance to give a huge flip to the Nigerian Agricultural sector.
Revitalization has been a focal point of the economic policy of the Muhammad Buhari administration. The new plant was commissioned in the presence of some 18 governors, Captains of industries, ministers, as well as prominent traditional rulers. This plant is located in the Ibeju Lekki area of the Lagos free trade zone. It is also within the Periphery of the Dangote refinery.
