Polish Football Team Escorted to World Cup By Fighter Jets After Missile Strike At Border
The plane
transporting Poland's men`s National team was guided by fighter jets to the
southern border of the country following a missile strike that killed two
farmers four miles from the Ukrainian border.
The quad includes
superstar Rober Lewandowski and they were escorted out of the country by F-16
fighter jets on their way to the world cup in Qatar.

The fighter jets
guided the plane transporting the national team to the southern border of Poland
after a missile strike killed two farmers four miles from the Ukrainian border
on Tuesday, November 15.
As a response to the
blast, troops closed off the border between Ukraine and Poland amid fears of a Russian
migrant crisis. On Tuesday, November 22, the Polish national team will kick off
the tournament against Mexico.
After crashing out
of the group stage in 2018, Poland has been able to qualify for back to back
for world cups. They are hoping to reach the know-out stage for the first time
since 1986.
