The photo of an 11-year-old
Junior student whose throat was slit by an SS2 student of a Borno boarding
school has been shared online. The SS2
student was simply identified as Umar Goni and the victim was identified as Jibrin
Sadi Ramadan. Both are students of Elkanemi
College of Islamic Theology in Maiduguri, Borno state. The victim's throat was
slit with a razor during an encounter they had just behind the school hostel on

The junior student's
throat was slit because he refused to run an errand for the senior student. He
was found lying unconsciously in a pool of blood behind the hostel.
The victim was immediately
rushed to the University teaching hospital in Maiduguri and is admitted to the
Intensive care unit . Ramadan is reported to be in critical condition.
