Petrol tanker explodes in Onitsha Anambra State
A Petrol laden tanker has exploded in the commercial city of
Onitsha Anambra State. This incident occurred in the early hours of Friday,
January 28.
According to residents and eyewitnesses, the
accident was a result of the bad portion on the Obodo Ukwu Junction in Onitsha.

Sources claimed the
fire started at about 8: 30AM and had caused a long standstill of Vehicles in
and out of Onitsha.
The Nigerian Fire Service
from Ananabra State and neighboring Delta State have arrived on the scene and
are battling to put off the fire amid a shortage of water.
