Pentagon Official Claims Russian Troops Surrendering en masse or Sabotaging Vehicles To Avoid fighting
According to a senior Pentagon official, some Russian troops have surrendered in droves and are even sabotaging their own vehicles in other to avoid fighting.
In some cases, entire Russian units have laid down their arms without a fight after facing a stiff confrontation from Ukrainian forces.
The Official also added that a significant number of Russian troops are young conscripts who received poor training and are not well prepared for an all out assault.

Also in some cases, there are reports that Russian forces deliberately punching holes in the gas thanks of their vehicles just to avoid the combact.
Apart from facing shortages of fuel, food and spare parts, the Pentagon official added that Russian commanders leading the armored column towards Kyiv may also be "regrouping and rethinking" their battle strategy. They are making adjustmnents on the fly to gain mumentum for what US intelligence and military officials described as an inevitable push to be carried out in the next few days. This push is aimed at encircling and capturing the capital city of Kyiv.
