One killed as driver loses control and rams car into a refuse truck in Anambra
A driver of a Toyota Corolla has on Wednesday 9 February lost control of his car thereby ramming into a refuse truck that was packed along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway and thereby killing a passerby.
Although the car of the driver was damaged beyond repair, he survived the accident. But this accident led to the death of a yet-to-be-identified young man who was said to have just alighted from a commercial bus minutes before the accident.

Here is what eyewitnesses said:
“The victim is a man in his late thirties and was identified as Ebuka. He was said to have alighted from a commercial bus, minutes before the tragedy.
The victim was crushed and pushed into the gutter. He died instantly, while the driver of the Toyota Camry who was in critical condition was rushed to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka, same as the body of the deceased''
