Mother Abandons Her Infant, Runs Away After Successful Delivery In Delta
She was just like every other woman. She got pregnant, she carried the pregnancy for nine good months. Now the time was ripe for her to bring a new baby she has conceived into the world. She went into a maternity home to receive needed care that would ensure she gets a safe delivery.
All hands were on
deck as they worked round the clock to ensure she had a safe delivery. As we
all wish to hear, she delivered the baby successfully without any complications.
This was where the unimaginable occurred. After the delivery, the mother of
this newborn baby absconded.

What made it so easy
for her to run away without anyone noticing? Sapele News Portal reported that she delivered
the baby with the help of an old woman. This could have been why she was able
to run away easily. This baby with an unknown mother was brought into this
world on Friday, May 27, 2022.
The mother is nowhere
to be found, what would the old woman do now that the baby is abandoned in her
custody. As a law-abiding citizen, she reported the issue to the Sapele main Police
station. After the DPO heard the story, he immediately ordered that the baby's
health and well-fare should be a top priority, and to achieve that, they need
the professional services rendered at “Testimony Orphanage” located at shell
road opposite Uduaghan park. So, the baby was
dropped at that orphanage for professional care.
What sort of heartlessness and cowardice could
