Many Persons Feared Dead As Fuel Tanker Explodes In Osun State
A fuel tanker has been involved in an accident
in Osun state with many persons feared dead. Reports indicate that the vehicle
carrying the gas exploded and resulted in the death of some passengers.
The accident occurred around Ode-Omu community
in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety
Corps (FRSC), Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi while confirming the incident
Confirming
the incident, the spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mrs
Agnes Ogungbemi, noted that they had not been able to ascertain the dead but
the injured had been taken to the Ise Oluwa Medical Centre in Ode-Omu.
She
said, “No detail for now because we have not been able to ascertain the dead
but the injured have been taken to Ise Oluwa Medical Center, Ode-Omu.”
