Man Arrested By Police In Lagos After Allegedly Killing His Father In Lagos
Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a
young man aged 21 who allegedly killed his 70-year-old father.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin the spokesperson of
the command confirmed the incident on Tuesday, October 25. He said that the mother
of the suspect who happens to be the mother of the suspects reported an alleged
murder to the police division in Abule-Egba.
Information gathered revealed that the suspect
used a sharp object to kill his father in the father`s room at about 3:40 a.m.
Hundeyin
added;
“The complainant stated further
that on getting to the General Hospital Oke-Odo, the deceased was confirmed
dead by a doctor.
“The scene of the crime has been
visited by the police and the corpse taken to Isolo General Hospital mortuary
for autopsy.
“The
suspect has been moved to the Homicide Unit of the State Criminal Investigation
Department, Panti, for investigation.”
