Liverpool Humiliates Manchester United In A 5-0 Defeat
According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United defeat is the darkest day
he has ever had as a football coach. On Sunday,
October 24th, 2021, Manchester United suffered a humiliating loss against
Liverpool which saw Mo-Sallah netting 3 times.
With this win, Liverpool
remains unbeaten in the premier league this season.
Expectations were
high from the fans of Manchester United, as they came from behind to defeat
Atlanta in their last game at Old Trafford. Their expectations died off after they meet
with a more determined side.
Things became sourer
when Sallah and Egyptian international netted 3 goals while Cristiano Ronaldo
could not see the back of the net.
An assist from Sallah
was all Naby Keita needed to score the first goal in the 5th minute. Diogo Jota scored the second goal in the 13th
minute. Mohammed Sallah scored the third
goal of the game in 38 minutes before netting the fourth one just before halftime.
Sallah netted his 3rd
goal in the 50th minute and things went sour for Manchester united
when Paul Pogba got a red card in the 60th minute.
Although there are
speculations that Sallah is in contract talks with other clubs, Sallah has come
out to say that he will stay with the reds till the end of his career.
