Lateef Femi-Okunnu's daughter, Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi declares intention to run for the 2023 presidential election
Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi, who is the daughter of Femi Okunnu
SAN, the Former Commissioner of works has opened up on her interest to run for
the Office of the president of Nigeria come 2023.
Khadijah is a youth development advocate
and also a seasoned entrepreneur. She is both the founder and CEO of slice
media solutions.
According to her,
she is motivated to vie in for the presidency because she has the desire to
restore hope and make Nigeria work again for all Nigerians.

According to the
media expert, she noted that it is youths under the age of 30 who represent
about 70% of the Nigerian population are the ones who have borne the most
impact of bad governance. She also added that the youth accounts for 13.9
million of the unemployment figures which stood at 21.7 million in the second quarter
of 2020.
Here is what she
said:: "I believe
in the possibilities Nigeria holds; that is why I have taken this first step,
not because there are no fears, but the will to bring about the Nigeria we all
wish, hope, and believe we can make a reality together."
She is the daughter
of Femi Okunnu SAN who served as a Federal Commissioner of Works And Housing
from 1967-1974.
