The IG also stated that the police will do
more to maintain law and order. This is especially
important as the Nation
plans to mark the 2023 democracy day.
He
encouraged all the police managers to develop proactive measures to forestall
any untoward acts.
Last Thursday,
the NLC says it would embark on a nationwide strike as fuel prices skyrocket
across the country occasioned by the inaugural speech of the president when he
declared that “fuel subsidy is gone”.
