Greece Authorities Arrest Four British Nationals Arrested After £12,000,000 Worth Of Cocaine is Found Stashed In Banana Shipment.
Greece was once a Nation to Reckon with in the ancient
world. They were once one of the most popular Nations boasting of fun
activities like the Olympics and much more. Today, they are making headlines,
and not for a very good reason.
It's not about fun
activities like the Olympics for ancient antiquities. But it’s the news that Four
persons who are British Nations are arrested by Greek authorities over
suspicion of Drug smuggling in Greece.
The authorities have
opened up on the quantity and worth of the cocaine. The cocaine weighs almost
300kg and is worth between €10 million and €14 million which is equivalent to £12 million. The
cocaine was discovered by authorities after they spent hours thoroughly searching
a shipment of bananas from South America.

These suspects are aged 38, 45, 48, and 52.
Findings by the authorities revealed that the suspects resided in Liverpool and
London. They were arrested in a rental home near the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki.
Re[ports from the police also indicate that a fifth
British man who does not reside in Greece will be questioned. Uncovering huge crimes such as these requires
international collaboration and this doesn’t fall short of such as Italian and
US authorities working together to uncover this crime.
These suspects intended to ship the class A
drugs to other European countries.
