Flamingos Of Nigeria Defeat Germany In FIFA U17 Women's World Cup To Get Bronze Medal
The Flamingoes of
Nigeria defeated Germany in the battle for third place. With this win, the
flamingoes clinched the bronze medal in the Under -17 world cup that was held
in India.
The Ladies
representing Nigeria defeated their German counterparts 3-2 on penalties at the DY Patil stadium. It
was a thrilling third-place match that ended in a 3-3 draw after regulation
time. The Flamingoes started the game on a good note netting three goals before
Germany came from behind to draw the game.

The flamingoes
defeated the Germans in the penalty shoot-out 3-2 thus making them the second
African team to clinch the bronze medal in the U-17 Women`s World Cup.
