FIFA World Cup play-off: Ighalo, Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, 3 others arrive at Super Eagles Camp ahead of Clash With Ghana

Six Players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived at the Traning Camp on Monday, March 21, 2022. They arrive ahead of their scheduled two-legged FIFA world cup qualifier playoff with the Black Stars of Ghana. 

    Babafemi Raji, the media officer of the team revealed that William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, and Frank Onyeka were the first to arrive at the camp of the super eagles.

  Al Hilal striker, Odion Ighalo later joined the group to swell the number to six.

 

Nigeria will tackle Ghana on their away match on Friday 25th March, with the reverse leg set for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, 29th March from 6 pm.

  Any winner who emerges from the two legs will earn one of Africa’s five tickets to the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals, scheduled for 14th November – 18th December this year in Qatar.
