FG Declares Public Holiday For Christmas and New Year Celebrations


 The end of the year is inching closer and as you know, the end of the year is a holiday season. The Federal Government in its bid to allow the citizens to get the most from the holidays and allow families to spend time together has declared three days as public holidays.  Mondays, the 26th of December, Tuesdays 27th of December, and January 2nd January has been declared as public holidays.

 Ogneni Rauf Aregbesola the minister of interior disclosed this information on behalf of the federal government in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary Dr. Shuaib Belgore on Friday in Abuja.

 Aregbesole used the opportunity to facilitate with Nigerians at home and in Diaspora on the Christmas and New year celebrations this year. He reminded Christians to emulate the doctrines of Christ in faith, hope, and Love.
