Female corps members were dehumanized after an argument with a female soldier
In an
offensive video that went viral, a female soldier was seen pouring dirty water
on the kneeling corps member who was observing her PPA (Primary assignment )
at the 13 brigade headquarters in Calabar cross rivers state.
The
corps member identified as Ezeiruaku received this dehumanizing treatment after
an argument with the female soldier.
Angered by the ill-treatment of this corps member,
a human rights activist Agba Jalingo who got the video posted on social media.
When the video went viral it sparked
outrage forcing the Nigerian military to release a statement that they will try
the female soldier name Anele for unprofessional conduct.
The corps member has been subsequently reposted
from Cross rivers state to Lagos state.
