EFCC Denies Staff Takes Photos With Socialite Obi Cubana
The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has denied
claims that its staff took pictures with socialite Obi Cubana when he was at their
office some days ago.
In photos that have
gone viral after the businessman was released from their custody, Obi Cubana
was seen in a joyful mood with persons said to be EFCC officials. It is still unclear when that photo was taken
but the photo was released after the socialite was released from the custody of
the EFCC.
But the anti-Graft
Agency has come out to say that that picture was not taken in their office and
that the persons in the picture are not known to the Economic And Financial
Crimes Commission.
Here is the statement
released by the EFCC -
"Di Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, wish to disclaim one trending photograph
on social media that shows socialite Obi Cubana with members of the EFCC in their
premises”
The commison thereby warns the public to be cautious of the
mischievious act by people of they called Cubana publicists.
