Chelsea Beat Brentford 1-0 To Secure Three Points In Their EPL Encounter
The Blues returned to the top of the premier league with a
1-0 away win from home. A stoppage-time strike from Ben Chilwell was all the
blues needed to gain all three points at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Although both teams matched themselves in the second half, The Blues managed to
go home with all three points.
Although Brentford started
the game very well, Chelsea looked more threatening for most of the first 45
minutes. Thomas Tuchel's goal was all
the blues needed to secure a victory.
Rumelu Lukaku stood
over a free kick in the 17th minute but it got past the edge of the
Brentford box but couldn`t get enough bend for his kick and it went wide.
Five minutes after
the 17th minute, Chelsea came yet close again with a counter-attack
led by Timo Werner which led to Rumelu Lukaku turning home across the german
forward. Just in the first-half stoppage time, Chigwell broke the deadlocks for
the visitors.
