Celebration Galore As Manchester City Wins Premier League Title After Beating Aston Villa 3-2
On Sunday, May 22, 2022, will go on in the history books as
the day Manchester City won their impressive fourth premier league title in
five years. Pep Guardiola’s
men did not hesitate to display their classic style of play and impressive team
spirit as they beat Aston villa 3-2 although being two goals down at the beginning
of the game.
Liverpool FC, the
closest rival to Manchester city also, played today and won 3-1 against wolves
at home. Two goals from Matty
Cash and Philippe Coutinho gave Aston villa a 2-0 lead early in the game
against the city.

Being two goals down did not dismay Manchester
city as Ilkay Gundogan's header in the 76th minute gave them hope
while just two minutes later, a strike from Rodri put Level the scores at 2-2.
Triumphant shouts of
joy filled the air as Gundogan tapped home from a brilliant pass from Kevin De
Bruyne in the 81st minute putting the city ahead of Villa with one goal.
Their late goal
rendered Liverpool's comeback against the wolves useless. No one could be more
excited than the manager who has now written his name in the history books of
Manchester City as the coach who has won four premier league titles after being
at the club for just six years.
