Bandits On Rampage As Several Passengers Were Abducted, Police Inspector Killed and His Vehicle Burned By Bandits.
It is a sad day in
Kwakware community along the Kastina-Jibia road as bandits have killed a police
inspector identified as Idris Musa. He was killed at Makera quarters.
According to an eyes
witness report, the gunmen invaded the community at about 7:00 am on Monday,
September 26. They shot sporadically into the air while chasing a bus conveying
some passengers. According to an eyes witness, all efforts to repel the terror
group by the deceased inspector proved abortive.

The bandits
thereafter killed the inspector, burnt his vehicle, and abducted an unspecified
number of passengers.
SP Gambo Isah Spokesperson to the Kastina
State Police Command later confirmed the incident stating that the officer was
on his way to work when he was attacked and killed by the merciless terrorists.
According to the PPRO, investigations are currently ongoing into the incident.
