Armed robbers attack bullion van in Ibadan, kill policemen, and cart away money
Gun Men suspected to be Armed Robbers attacked a bullion van
in Ibadan. The attack took place at the Idi-Ape axis of Iwo road.
It is the Mayhem
created by traders clashes at Gbagi international market that the robbers
took advantage of to attack the bullion van. Many drivers left their cars to run for their
lives while passengers also ran away from their vehicles during the robbery attack.

A video recording of
the aftermath shows cars lined up on the road without the owners in them. The robbery
led to the death of some persons including policemen. Others also sustained
various degrees of injuries.
Some sources said two
policemen were killed in the attack.
