89 buses for AFCON 2021 go missing two months after the tournament in Cameroon
Barely 60 days after the closing ceremony of the 33rd edition
of AFCON 2021, the buses purchased for the transport of the national teams and
their delegations have gone missing.
Information reaching us from Cameroonaina daily L’Anecdote, reveals that 89 out of the 90 buses that were used for the tournament have vanished and the only bus remaining, is the one the indomitable lions of Cameroon uses for their home games.

This development comes amidst reports that the
government of Cameroon is yet to pay some workers for the 2021 AFCON.
The AFCON 2021 Trophy was taken home by the
Teranga Lions of Senegal after they beat the pharaohs of Egypt in a penalty
shootout.
