3 dead as boat capsizes in Badagry
On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, a passenger boat capsized which result in the
death of three passengers while 17 others were rescued by the marine police.
The boat which took
off from Liverpool in Lagos capsized at Imoba near Ajido on the Badagry
waterways.
All passengers who
were on the boat were thrown into the water. All thanks to the marine police
who were on patrol and rescued while 3 lost their lives.
A mechanical fault has been blamed as the
cause of the boat mishap.
