Youngest Bus Driver In Britain Passes Test At The Age Of 18 After Being Inspired By His Dad.
Attention commuters as the youngest bus driver in Britain are about to
hit the road! Luke Brown who is just 18 years of age is now a qualified driver
for the National Express in Coventry after passing his test with no minors. He
got inspiration from his father and the pair are now competing for who is
better at the job.
Luke Brown got inspiration from his father Stuart Brown who has worked
for the company for about 2 decades. According to west Mainland, he ‘loves
everything about driving’.
According to the 18-year-old, working with his dad as well as helping
people to get around should be one of the best things about his new job.
Luke completed his driver's training and also passed his passenger-carrying
Vehicle (PCV) license for the first time.

A driver who works full time in Coventry

Luke said: 'I'm looking forward to
spending more time on the road, helping more people get around, and working
alongside my dad, who has worked for the garage for the past 20 years.
'Although, now there is a bit of competition
between me and dad for who's the better driver!
'It feels great to have passed with no
minors.
'I put a lot of time and effort into
practicing for the test so it's very satisfying to know my hard work has paid
off.'
He added: 'Having a supportive team
around me has helped a lot.
'During my training, no question was
too silly and my instructor was calm and informative so I didn't feel pressured
at all, which I believe has spurred on my development.'

at National Express Coventry, said: 'To pass a PCV license at 18 years of age
and with zero minors is a major achievement.
