Suspected Rapist Falls Asleep And Arrested After The Act
A suspected rapist has been arrested by the Delta state police
after he allegedly fell asleep after the act. The Rapist identified as Ayuba
Adabo is a 34 years old man in Delta state. He raped 25 years old lady along
the Amagiya road in Sapele Delta state.
In a statement released
by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, he said
that the suspect was heavily drunk and accosted the victim whom he dragged
into his room. He threatened to kill her before forcefully having sex with her.
Immediately after the act, he fell asleep.
When the victim
noticed that he was fast asleep, she sneaked out and ran to the Sapele division
of the Nigerian Police where she reported the case. In no time, the patrol
team/detectives were drafted to the scene and the suspect was promptly
arrested, DSP Edafe said in a statement.
