Super Eagles Of Nigeria Fail To Qualify For The 2022 World Cup

 The Super Eagles of Nigeria will not be part of the African nations going to the world cup in Qatar 2022. They failed to qualify after a 1-1 draw with ghana at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja Nigerian capital.

  In the first leg played at the Kumasi Stadium in Ghana, the Super Eagles failed to defeat the black stars of Ghana with the game ending 0-0. Through Thomas Partey, the Black Stars took the lead early in the second leg. 

 The Arsenal midfielder's long-range shot found the back of the net with Francis Uzoho unable to stop it. 

   The VAR awarded a penalty after Ademola Lookman was fouled gave the Nigerian side the opportunity to level up. William Troost-Ekong took the penalty and scored leveling things to 1-1.  

The outcome of the match means the Black Stars of Ghana, qualified on away goals.
