Malala The Nobel Peace Prize Winner Ties The knot In Nikkah Ceremony

  Malala Yousafzai the Nobel peace prize winner has finally married the love of her life in an Islamic ceremony in Birmingham.   She and Asser malik took part in a Nikkah Ceremony where both the bride and groom consent to be married. 

   According to the 24-year-old activist, it was a precious day in her life. Since she was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 Malala a human rights activist has found refuge in the West Midlands.

   In her tweet on Tuesday, she said  "Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life," as she also shared how they took part in a small Nikkah ceremony with their family.  She also added "We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead,"

 In the same vein, her husband also tweeted a picture of the couple and he said, in Malala he had found a "beautiful and kind partner" and he was "so excited to spend the rest of our life together".

 Mala was 15 years old when she started speaking up for the right of girls to be educated which led to her being targeted by the Taliban. The Taliban boarded her school bus in the Northwest swat valley and opened fire. Although she survived the assault, herself as well as two of her school friends were wounded.

 After she recovered from the near-fatal injuries, she and her family relocated to Birmingham where she now calls her second home.  At the age of 17, she became the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. She later went on to study at the oxford university and has become a leading human rights campaigner now at the age of 24.

  After her graduation, Malala has called for better support for Afghan Refugees. She has also signed a contract with apple tv + to create documentaries. She has also appeared on the cover of British Vogue. To this day she continues to work hard to improve girls' access to education.
